Executive Vice President

Scott Miller plays a central role in overseeing and coordinating operations across office and field activities. He splits his time between the Miller Construction office (50%), on-site work (20%), and managing the in-house shop team and equipment fleet (30%), ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

His responsibilities include prioritizing bid lists, coordinating trucker schedules, verifying equipment maintenance, and remaining available for emergency situations. Each week, Scott supports estimating and project management efforts, attends project and operations meetings, and addresses Union-related matters. He works closely with Union representatives to ensure workforce alignment and resolve issues as they arise.

On a monthly basis, he participates in job reviews and financial discussions, and annually contributes to budget reviews and tax planning. Scott’s operational oversight and hands-on management are essential to maintaining the company’s performance and responsiveness.
